Heavy workload and high work stress can cause physical and emotional exhaustion, <br>which in turn negatively affects the spirit and ability of employees to complete work optimally. This study aims <br>to determine whether workload and work stress have a direct effect on employee motivation. Then, to find out <br>whether load, work stress and motivation have a direct effect on employee work productivity. Also, to find out <br>whether workload and stress have an indirect effect on employee work productivity through motivation. The <br>research method used is quantitative, with a population of all employees of the production department of PT <br>BPLP Sinarmas totaling 52 people, who also became the research sample through saturated sampling <br>technique. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires, using a Likert scale to measure <br>respondents' responses. Data analysis involved validity, reliability, classical assumptions (normality and <br>linearity), and path analysis to test the hypothesis. The results show that workload and work stress significantly <br>affect employee motivation. Agro Sarimas Indonesia, which revealed that employee performance was still suboptimal, as some employees received performance ratings categorized as "fairly good." This is suspected to be influenced by employee ability, work environment, and motivation.The purpose of this study was to determine the direct effect of ability and work environment variables on employee performance and the indirect effect of ability and work environment variables on employee performance through motivation.This study used primary data through questionnaires distributed to 57 respondents.
