IMPLEMENTATION OF WRITTEN EXAM FOR CANDIDATE HEAD OF VILLAGE IN ELECTION OF VILLAGE HEAD (PILKADES) FOR PASS RINGGIT VILLAGE, LIRIK DISTRICT AND SEUNGAI AKAR VILLAGE, BATANG GANSAL DISTRICT, INDRAGIRI HULU DISTRICT, FISCAL YEAR 2021

Abstrak

The purpose of the implementation of community service activities (PKM) carried out by
the STIE Indragiri Lecturer is to facilitate the implementation of the Written Test
Examination for Candidates for Village Heads in the simultaneous Village Head
Elections (Pilkades) in 2021 in collaboration with the Regency Facilitation Team of the
Community Empowerment Service. And the Village of Indragiri Hulu Regency and the
Subdistrict Facilities Team. The election of the village head is the implementation of the
sovereignty of the people in the village in the context of selecting the village head which
is direct, general, honest and fair.
Based on the Indragiri Hulu Regent Regulation Number: 40 of 2019 concerning the
implementation of the Village Head election, among others, it explains that in Article 55
paragraph (1) in the event of a Village Head Candidate who is included in the list of 5
(five) the highest score is more than 5 (five) five) people, the Election Committee
conducts the Written Examination and in Article 56 paragraph (1) to carry out the
Written Examination as referred to in article 55, the Election Committee in cooperation
with Higher Education Institutions is facilitated by the District Facilities Team and
assisted by the District Facilities Team.
It is hoped that through this activity, it will encourage accurate and transparent written
test results so that it can produce Village Head Candidates who have good knowledge,
attitudes and skills. The activity method used is a written test. This activity is carried out
by emphasizing written test activities which are carried out strictly and supervised by
Lecturers of STIE Indragiri with 4 members and together with the Supervisory Team from
the Indragiri Hulu Inspectorate with 2 members. Followed by the correction of the results
of the exams that have been done by the test/test participants (Village Head Candidates)
with the composition of the question material, namely Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution,
Indonesian Language, Regulations on Regional Government/Village Administration and
General, Social, and Community Knowledge. Implementation of this community service
activity, run according to the plan and time that has been set. The test participants for the
prospective Village Head have a very positive response and high enthusiasm to
participate in the successful implementation of the written test exam for the prospective
Village Head in the 2021 Pilkades.
