Employee productivity is a crucial issue for the success of a company, but it is often a problem that arises. At
PT BPLP Sinarmas, data shows a decline in productivity levels in certain years, indicating the presence of
factors that influence it. Heavy workload and high work stress can cause physical and emotional exhaustion,
which in turn negatively affects the spirit and ability of employees to complete work optimally. This study aims
to determine whether workload and work stress have a direct effect on employee motivation. Then, to find out
whether load, work stress and motivation have a direct effect on employee work productivity. Also, to find out
whether workload and stress have an indirect effect on employee work productivity through motivation. The
research method used is quantitative, with a population of all employees of the production department of PT
BPLP Sinarmas totaling 52 people, who also became the research sample through saturated sampling
technique. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires, using a Likert scale to measure
respondents' responses. Data analysis involved validity, reliability, classical assumptions (normality and
linearity), and path analysis to test the hypothesis. The results show that workload and work stress significantly
affect employee motivation. Workload and work stress also have a direct influence on work productivity.
Furthermore, workload and work stress were shown to have an indirect influence on employee work
productivity through motivation.
