PENGARUH JUMLAH PENDUDUK, TINGKAT PENGANGGURAN DAN RATA-RATA LAMA SEKOLAH TERHADAP KEMISKINAN DIKABUPATEN INDRAGIRI HULU

Abstract

 This poverty is caused by low income due to low productivity and skills, the use of simple production facilities, low education, high family responsibilities, high population growth, and low savings. The percentage of the population fluctuated from 2010 to 2024. The highest percentage of the poor population was 8.96% in 2010, and the lowest percentage was 5.96% in 2020. This study will discuss the population size, unemployment rate, and average length of schooling.The research was conducted over a period of approximately six months. The purpose of the research was to analyze the influence of population size, unemployment rate, and average length of schooling on poverty in Indragiri Hulu District. The type of research was quantitative, using primary data. To analyze the data, quantitative methods were used, including classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, multiple correlation coefficients and determination, F-tests, and t-tests, which were assisted by SPSS. Based on the research results and discussion, the following conclusions can be drawn: simultaneously, population size, unemployment rate, and average length of schooling influence poverty.
