PENGARUH KEMAMPUAN DAN LINGKUNGAN KERJA MELALUI MOTIVASI TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN DI AFDELING II PT AGRO SARIMAS INDONESIA

This research was conducted in Division II of PT. Agro Sarimas Indonesia, Bayas Jaya Village, Kempas District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province. The author's interest in conducting this research was based on data from initial interviews with HRD and employees in the KTU office of PT. Agro Sarimas Indonesia, which revealed that employee performance was still suboptimal, as some employees received performance ratings categorized as "fairly good." This is suspected to be influenced by employee ability, work environment, and motivation.The purpose of this study was to determine the direct effect of ability and work environment variables on employee performance and the indirect effect of ability and work environment variables on employee performance through motivation.This study used primary data through questionnaires distributed to 57 respondents. The analysis method used was quantitative, with path analysis.The results concluded that ability had no direct effect on employee performance, while ability had a direct effect on motivation, work environment on employee performance, work environment on motivation, and motivation on employee performance. And indirectly, work ability affects performance through motivation, and the work environment influences performance through motivation.
