Abstrak

^{Labor pain is an unpleasant physical sensation felt during uterine contractions, cervical dilation, and fetal expulsion. Counter pressure massage is a massage technique that applies strong pressure to the sacrum bone to reduce labor pain. The purpose of the study was to determine the impact of counter pressure massage on reducing labor pain in the first active phase at Kasih Ibu Hospital in 2024. This study used a quantitative method, with primary data. The population is 113 peopel. The sample in this study was 53 mothers in labor, with an accidental sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. Data analysis used simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study were obtained sig value results, namely 0.000 <0.05 so that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. With the conclusion that counter pressure massage (X) has a significant effect on reducing labor pain in the first stage (Y).}
