ANALISIS PENDAPATAN USAHA TANI CABAI MERAH (Capsicum Annum L.) (STUDI KASUS KEBUN DANAU RAJA KECAMATAN RENGAT KABUPATEN INDRAGIRI HULU PROVINSI RIAU)

Abstrak

Red chili is a horticultural commodity that has an important role in the lives of Indonesian people. Apart from being a seasoning that is almost always needed, red chili also has a high economic value. The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of production costs, farmers' income and efficiency of red chili farming. This research was conducted in April 2024 at Danau Raja Farm, Kec. Rengat, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The research method used is the observation method using primary data. The results showed that the total revenue received by farmers from red chili farming per growing season with an average land area of 4000 m2 in the study area amounted to Rp 65,917,500.00. The production cost of chili farming in Kebun Danau Raja, Rengat District is Rp. 17,664,000.00, the largest production cost is in labor costs and the lowest cost is in the cost of tool depreciation, then the net income is Rp. 48,253,500.00, Red chili farming, when viewed from an economic point of view is quite profitable. This can be seen from the R / C value of 3.73, which means that every Rp. 1.00 costs incurred obtained revenue of 3.73 and obtained income or profit of 3.73. Thus, red chili farming activities are feasible to continue their business because they are profitable.
